The Hertz car rental guys woke me up politely at 8 AM. They seem to think that a sleeping traveler in their open-office corner armchair is not exactly their brand image... But anyway, it was very comfortable for all the 2 hours that I could sleep there :)
Frankfurt-Hahn airport is funny - totally in the middle of Nowhere. Lots of airplanes in the middle of lots of green fields :) So it wasn't too difficult to find the next comfortable place in the grass fields in front of the airport, to rest off the night . I enjoyed 5 hours of sleeping & juggling (still oranges :), but unfortunately had to end that mini-vacation after that. Firstly, the sun started hurting me - and the friends who saw me right after the arrival to Madrid can prove that I was browner (redder) than they were in this southern capital :) And also, next adventures were waiting up ahead. For example, a chat with a colourful German girl Julia who had been an Erasmus exchange student in Finland for a year! It seems that everybody I happen to talk to in this trip either are, have been or will be Erasmus, cool!
The timing to leave the warm, sunny & comfortable grass in front of the airport had been simply perfect - a couple of minutes after arriving to the waiting hall, it started pouring super-intensive tropical rains outside!! Lucky.
And before getting on the plane to Madrid, I remembered the free-as-a-bird feeling again.. Nice to have finished all loose ends with the uni, after spending almost 4 years there!
So off we go to MADRID!!!
